Oakland Police Department Partners with Interview Now

OAKLAND, Ca., July 22, 2019 – Interview Now, a provider of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) recruitment solutions, has entered into a partnership with the city of Oakland’s Police Department. Through this partnership, Interview Now has become a key partner in the Oakland Police Department’s efforts to recruit new officers and track recruitment acquisition costs throughout the city. To launch the campaign, the Oakland Police Department has begun a series of local advertisement campaigns including Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), recruitment events, social media, and billboards around the city.

“Interview Now is an innovative approach to recruit the future generation of today’s workforce. We’re looking forward to this partnership as we scale to reach full staffing,” said Lieutenant of Police Wilson Lau.

“This partnership will enable the Oakland Police Department to improve its recruitment operations while making it easier for local job seekers. We’re extremely excited to help the city recruit,” said Robert Cate, CEO of Interview Now.

Interview Now is an artificial intelligence (A.I.), recruitment technology company. Interview Now uses conversational A.I. and automation via text message to make it easier for job seekers to apply, while measuring return on investment from advertisements and referrals to prioritize recruitment efforts. Interview Now’s Handoff product identifies and connects high-value candidates, like lateral officers, to the OPD recruitment team on a phone call. By providing self-serve resource documents for oral, written, and physical tests, with the option to speak to a recruiter, Interview Now reduces repetitive calls from potential officer trainees and schedules callbacks with candidates that need special attention. The dashboard makes it easy to add notes and statuses to candidates for easy organization and management. Interview Now provides a base level of analytics to understand acquisition cost and referral data. In addition, Interview Now compiles custom reports to analyze data captured from the customized dialogue.
